Was in Isabelle Gräff´s studio this afternoon. Her work is fantastic!
She´s represented by Trolley. Trolley publishes great good-looking, especially meaningful stuff. Back in the day they shared an office space with VERY, where I had interned. I remember a 22 year old version of me being so impressed by photographs browsing through their catalogue. Small world.
On a leisurely neighborhood walk over the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the multi-disciplinary qualities of Henrik Vibskov. Not that its hard to expect from one of the moment´s gifted people... just caught off guard by the nonchalance of it.

In the vain of visionary Mike Mills last year, Henrik Vibskov's "Graphic Works" show is running this month at Pool Gallery. Nearby things are also seemingly abuzz. NYTimes spills the conspicuous beans...
What a quirky little metropolis you're itching to be berlin! Whether it will have anything to do with bringing in more employment remains to be seen. If it weren't for the inspiration i'd be ready to settle somewhere unassuming, and P-A-I-D.

Priestess nyc is practicing altruism, beyond their spirited cuts. 15% of priestess nyc´s sales will go to the Red Cross International Fund to benefit victims of the Feb 28th earthquake in Chile.

My friend Marah is doing volunteer work in Chile. She´s got a fascinating report regarding the recent events on her blog.
back from wherever ive been.. was whisked away for a while by the spirit of the times. spring is around the corner, which means tapping into fresh perspectives, adjusting to new jobs, working out and drinking the best hot chocolates known to man at a neighborhood cafe :)

Being familiar with the lifestyle of Sub-Saharan developing nations, I totally feel Marieke van der Velden´s photographs of swimming pools in Africa. The settings expose civilizing western clout, within the total atmosphere.
